If you plan to BUY…
We assist you every step of the way–from finding the property through the final closing. We have information on all properties listed through the Multiple Listing Service in addition to our own extensive inventory of listings. Our computerized records allow us to search for properties that meet your particular specifications, and the full-time agents at Shasta Real Estate Group are familiar with the inventory of houses, land and other property listings. We are happy to place you on our mailing lists, and keep you updated monthly with available properties. Our firm represents several new home builders, too, should you decide to design your own house.
We will accompany you on an area orientation and assist you in deciding which type of property will work for you. We will assist you in selecting a lender for financing sources and qualifications.
When you find that special piece of property, we will help you prepare your offer, assist in all negotiations, and prepare all legal contracts accordingly. We attend all inspections, monitor the escrow process, and keep you informed right up to closing.

We will prepare a comparative market analysis for you, using fully computerized records of comparable properties that have sold and the listing prices of those currently on the market. This will help you arrive at the best price to ask in today’s market. We prepare a complete file so we are familiar with all aspects of your property: maps, measurements, terms acceptable to you, and other pertinent information. What is the Multiple Listing Service?
A Multiple Listing Service is a cooperative listing service conducted by a group of brokers, such as all the real estate offices in Siskiyou County. All listings are turned into the real estate board, and then the information is distributed to all participants in the service. Shasta Real Estate Group is a member of the Siskiyou County Board of Realtors. The advantage to sellers is that other offices will show Shasta Real Estate Group listings, and the advantage to buyers is that your Shasta Real Estate Group agent can show you other office’s listings. This way, you can work solely with the Shasta Real Estate Group agent you trust to best represent you.
